Cancellation Policy

At Root HR, we strive to offer a seamless experience to all our customers. Please read our cancellation policy carefully before subscribing to our services.

Free Trial Period

We offer a 30-day free trial for all new users, starting from the date of registration, so you can experience the features of Root HR.

At the end of the trial period, your subscription will automatically be activated, and payment will be charged to the card details entered at the time of registration.

Billing Cycle

We offer a monthly billing cycle for subscription payments.

If a payment is due on the 29th of each month, it will be charged on the 28th for the month of February in a non-leap year. Payments due on the 31st of a month will be charged on the last calendar day of that month.

Cancellation During the Free Trial Period

If you wish to cancel your subscription before the free trial ends, you must cancel at least 3 business days before the end of the trial period to avoid any charges.

You can cancel your subscription in one of the following ways:

  1. Inside the Root HR application by going to Settings > Subscription > Cancel Plan.
  2. By sending an email to info@roothr.co.uk from your registered email address.
  3. By calling our support team on +44 1268 395041.

If you are calling us to cancel the subscription, we will need to verify your identity through our verification process. This may include verifying your registered email address and account details.

Cancellation Notice Period During Subscription Period

Once your subscription is active, a minimum 14-day cancellation notice period applies.

To cancel, you must submit your cancellation request at least 14 days before the start of your next billing cycle.

If your request is received within 14 days of your next billing cycle start date, the cancellation will take effect at the end of the subsequent billing cycle.

This policy ensures that all cancellations are processed smoothly without unexpected disruption to your service.

Non-Refundable Payments

All subscription payments are non-refundable.

We encourage you to fully utilise the free trial period to ensure Root HR meets your business requirements before subscribing. You may also request a demo if required.

How to Cancel Your Subscription

To cancel your Root HR subscription, please use one of the following methods:

Inside the application:
Go to Settings > Subscription > Cancel Plan and follow the cancellation instructions.

Email:
Send your cancellation request to info@roothr.co.uk from your registered email address.

Phone:
Call our support team on +44 1268 395041.

Please provide the following details to ensure a smooth cancellation process:

  • Your account details, such as your registered email address or licence key.
  • The reason for cancellation. This is optional, but it helps us improve our services.

Post-Cancellation Access

Once your cancellation request is confirmed, your subscription will remain active until 12 midnight GMT on the last date of your billing cycle.

After this period, access to Root HR will be revoked, and no further subscription charges will be taken unless you re-subscribe.

Confirmation of Cancellation

Once your cancellation request has been processed, you will receive a confirmation email. This email will include the date until which you will have access to the Root HR system.
